Kang Yoo Seok Reveals Being Huge Fan of Song Seung Heon’s ‘Autumn in My Heart'

The 28-year-old actor captivated viewers attention after he transformed into a rebellious refugee in the Netflix series.
Joining top stars Kim Woo Bin, Song Seung Heon, and Esom as lead stars, the up-and-coming actor proved his exceptional acting through his character.
Kang Yoo Seok delivered an amazing performance as he played young refugee Sa Wol.
In "Black Knight," he dreams of getting away from poverty by being part of the delivery team, just like the legendary 5-8, played by Kim Woo Bin.
In an interview, Kang Yoo Seok spoke about his appreciation for his seniors, especially with Kim Woo Bin and Song Seung Heon.

Before the popularity of "The Glory" and "Voice," one of the notable K-dramas in the 2000s that paved the way to Hallyu's global fame was the drama series "Autumn in My Heart."
It stars Song Hye Kyo, Song Seung Heon, who grew up as siblings Yoon Joon Suh and Yoon Eun Suh. However, Eun Suh was not the biological sister of Joon Suh after there was a mix up at the hospital where she was born.
The truth was revealed after she got into a car accident and her blood type didn't match any of her parents.
The romance drama scored multiple recognitions at the KBS Drama Awards, with Song Seung Heon and Song Hye Kyo taking home several achievements.
23 years later, Kang Yoo Seok has the opportunity to work with Song Seung Heon, whom he used to watch in "Autumn in My Heart."
"I watched the drama "Autumn in My Heart" starring Song Seung Heon and Song HyeKyo on TV when I was young," he recalled during the interview, adding, "Maybe that's why Kim Woo Bin and everyone felt like "celebrities" to me, but among them, Song Seung Heon was the person who thought, "Wow, he's a celebrity."
He also praised the top star for his youthful visuals and for being someone who didn't seem to age.
"I was surprised that he was the same as the face I used to see on TV when I was young," he said.

According to Kang Yoo Seok, he only had a few scenes with Song Seung Heon, particularly during the last scene, but was still stunned by his presence.
From Song Seung Heon, the up-and-coming actor, also lauded Kim Woo Bin as an actor and as a senior.

The 28-year-old actor had several scenes with Kim Woo Bin since both of them played delivery man.
For Kang Yoo Seok, he said the "Black Knight" lead stars are someone he looks up to and someone he "liked both as a senior and as an actor."
Like Song Seung Heon, he also used to watch Kim Woo Bin's drama.
"It was amazing just to appear in one work with such a person, even though it was short," he said.
Besides "Black Knight," Kang Yoo Seok appeared in "Start-Up" as one of the young developers and appeared on an episode of "Dr. Romantic Season 2."
