The series concluded on a good note and recorded a nationwide rating of 12%, marking its highest score in its entire run.

Through the show, Lee Do Hyun was able to showcase his versatility as an actor. He successfully portrayed a stoic prosecutor and a mentally impaired man, leaving fans in awe.

He also made the public weep and laugh with his chemistry with Ra Mi Ran and Ahn Eun Jin who played his mother and leading lady, respectively.

Lee Do Hyun did a wide range of genres including comedy, romance, melodrama and even thriller and because of this, "The Good Bad Mother" is described as his most challenging work yet.
