Ahn Eun Jin Shares Story of Unexpected Friendship With ‘My Dearest’ Co-Star Lee Da In

During the interview, the series' lead stars spill secrets on the set and share what to expect in the upcoming series.
"My Dearest" will be the newest historical K-drama that will air on MBC.
Set during the Joseon dynasty, it depicts the intriguing love story between a mysterious man named Lee Jang Hyun, played by Namgoong Min, and a noblewoman named Yoo Gil Chae, portrayed by Ahn Eun Jin.
In "My Dearest," Lee Jang Hyun has set his mind that he will not get married. However, things changed when he met the socialite, Yoo Gil Chae. While Jang Hyun is firm about his decision regarding marriage, Gil Chae is the total opposite.
Despite having two failed marriages, she still wants to try her luck in love. Will this be Lee Jang Hyun for the third time?
On the other hand, Lee Hak Joo plays scholar Nam Yeon Jun, who had a significant role during the Joseon Dynasty. Amid his stable career, he married Kyung Eun Ae, played by Lee Da In, who is also a close friend of Yoo Gil Chae.
Interestingly, the duo's friendship is similar off-camera.
Ahn Eun Jin Reveals What Brought Her Closer to "My Dearest" Co-Star Lee Da In
In the interview, as mentioned by a news portal, Ahn Eun Jin dishes on her special bond with Lee Da In. Despite "My Dearest" being their first K-drama together, the two actresses developed friendships even outside of work.

According to the "Hospital Playlist" actress, she "became strongly connected" with co-star Lee Da In.
It started when they filmed challenging scenes, but it only brought them closer.
On the other hand, Ahn Eun Jin shared that if there's one person on the cast that could make her laugh effortlessly, it would be Lee Hak Joo.
According to the actress, her co-star "is more serious than anyone else when shooting," but in reality she described him as a "witty person."
"That's why he always makes the other person comfortable, and it's always fun when he acts," the actress said, referring to her working relationship with Lee Hak Joo.
As for the actor, he expressed his affection towards his "My Dearest" co-star.
"It's really nice to see the four actors together, and the tension is high," he said.
Meanwhile, all three lead stars described Namgoong Min as a "reliable senior who gives a sense of stability when acting together."

The upcoming historical K-drama will be among the new K-dramas airing this August.
Viewers get to watch "My Dearest on August 4, airing every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 p.m. KST through MBC and Viki.
