Cha Tae Hyun dishes on his remarkable experience playing the role of Lightning Man in the hit Disney+ K-drama "Moving."

Since it was officially released on August 9, viewers are looking forward to seeing new episodes and the stories of each character.

Headlined by top stars Jo In Sung, Han Hyo Joo, Ryu Seung Ryong, and up-and-coming stars like Lee Jung Ha, Go Yoon Jung, and more, one of the cast members that made a mark is Cha Tae Hyun.

In the 20-episode series, the actor takes on the role of Jeon Gye Do. He has the ability to use and manipulate electricity. Because of his superpowers, he finds it awkward to socialize with people and even land a job after college. However, he sees this as his opportunity to audition for the role of Lightning Man, but he exploits his powers to become a beloved superhero.

During Cha Tae Hyun's appearance in Disney+ along with fellow co-stars, he was interviewed by Kim Sung Gyun, who played the role of Lee Jae Man, about his experience filming "Moving."

The actor confessed that he feels embarrassed because of his actual age, which is 47.

"It was so obvious. Everyone does that. But then they suddenly gave me a wig. They said I just needed a Lightning Man wig, but I had to get one more," he shared, referring to the time when the crew mentioned that it would be him portraying the younger version.

Worried about whether Cha Tae Hyun would pull off the scene, he said that the team asked him to act like a high school student.

"Moving" co-star Kim Sung Gyun went to ask the actor the secret to his youthful appearance and his "baby face" look.

"I don't know the secret," Cha Tae Hyun answered, adding, "I'm really sorry to say this, but it's hereditary."

"Moving" is Cha Tae Hyun's follow-up project after the comedy mystery series "Brain Works" with Jung Yong Hwa.

Cha Tae Hyun's Lightning Man Character Was Not in Original Webtoon

In an interview with writer Kang Full, who is also the creator of the webtoon, he revealed that two of the characters present in the series were created solely for the TV show.

According to the writer, the villain, Frank, played by Ryu Seung Beom and Cha Tae Hyun's Jeon Gye Do, did not exist in the webtoon.

Knag Full created the character of Jeon Gye Do to be the bridge between the parents and the younger generation. With this, he is thankful to Cha Tae Hyun for accepting the role, which he personally offered to the actor.
