'A Good Day To Be A Dog' Put Under Massive Pressure Ahead Premiere
Webtoon-based series "A Good Day To Be A Dog" follows the story of a woman who transforms into a dog when she kisses a man. To undo the curse, she must kiss a man who's terrified of dogs.
The webtoon is a popular work on its own and because of this, many were elated after the production of the series was announced.
In the series, Park Gyu Young plays Han Hae Na, an intelligent teacher who becomes a dog after kissing Jin Seo Won, her colleague who boasts god-like visuals, played by Cha Eun Woo.
The meeting of the two actors piqued the interest of the viewers. However, it also evoked mixed feelings from the prospective viewers who loved the webtoon.

One fan showed her concern for the drama, saying that the producers should have cast someone else for the male lead.
They said, "I don't think Cha Eun Woo can pull off the role. The male lead should be able to showcase the subtleties of love and not just look cold and dead inside."
Cha Eun Woo received criticisms for his typecast characters which worried fans. Park Gyu Young wasn't also safe from harsh opinions of the public.
"I like Park Gyu Young's acting but she's not suited for the role as she's not objectively stunning in that sense," one fan stated.
While fans are filled with doubts, the production unit guarantees a fun-filled watching experience as Park Gyu Young and Cha Eun Woo give life to their characters in the feel-good drama.
'A Good Day To Be A Dog' Drops New Trailer
On September 8, MBC released a new trailer for Park Gyu Young and Cha Eun Woo's upcoming romance series.
The teaser begins with Han Hae Na enjoying her time with adorable dogs before approaching her popular co-teacher Jin Seo Won.
She offers company after seeing the latter stress about the paperworks. Unfortunately, he gave her the cold shoulder like how he usually ignores her advances.
Han Hae Na then blatantly asks him why he is hostile around her despite her "cuteness" and bubbly personality.
In the next scene, Jin Seo Won pulls her close to him as he clarifies his honest feelings, raising anticipation for their sweet romance.
At the end of the teaser, Jin Seo Won is shocked to see Han Hae Na transform into an adorable dog. Catch "A Good Day To Be A Dog" this October 11 at 9:00 p.m. KST on MBC.
