Cha Tae Hyun can't help but feel emotional after reading a heartfelt letter from his wife.

The "Moving" star has been married for 17 years after tying a knot with his high school sweetheart, pop lyricist Choi Suk Eun, in 2006.

The couple was blessed with three children: a son and two beautiful daughters.

In one of the episodes of the variety reality show "Express Delivery: Mongolia Edition," alongside Kim Jong Kook, Jang Hyuk, and Hong Kyung Min, he unexpectedly received a letter from his wife.

During the episode, each member received a surprising package without details from the sender.

After Cha Tae Hyun opened his, he saw an envelope with a letter from his wife.

As he immediately saw that it was from Choi Seok Eun, he couldn't help but get teary-eyed.

"To my beloved husband, Tae-hyun," the letter begins, causing the actor to shed tears.

In a short yet heartfelt letter, Seok Eun expressed how she is thankful to have a loving husband and father like Cha Tae Hyun.

Despite the setback in their lives, he is grateful to have the actor by her side, especially for their children.

"I'm a little sick these days, so you're having a hard time taking care of the children for me, right? I always feel sorry, but I want to get better quickly and do well," the letter reads, as obtained by a news portal.

Recalling the first time they met, dated, and got married, Choi Suk Eun thanked her husband for unconditionally loving her. 

"Let's continue to take care of each other and love each other as we do now," she wrote. 

According to the actor, his wife is sick and "not feeling well these days," but he did not elaborate on her health status.

On the other hand, Kim Joong Kook expressed enviousness after Cha Tae Hyun read the last message of his wife, which says, "I think marriage is worth it."

It has been 30 years since Cha Tae Hyun and Choi Suk Eun met during their high school years. In previous interviews, the actor said that they dated for 13 years. In fact, she was his first and last girlfriend.

Based on the webtoon of the same name, the action mystery series depicts the story of individuals with superhuman powers, one of which is Jeon Gye Do, played by Cha Tae Hyun. 

Although his character didn't exist in the original webtoon, Gye Do's character plays a significant role and is well loved by viewers.

As for the much-awaited news regarding "Moving" season 2, drama and Disney+ officials are yet to confirm if there will be a sequel. The same goes for cast members reprising their roles.
