It seemed like Bae Suzy took a trip down memory lane as she relives her Miss A days, portraying the role of Lee Doona.
Based on the webtoon "The Girl Downstairs," it depicts the story of retired K-pop idol Lee Doona, played by the singer actress, who unexpectedly meets university student Lee Won Joon, portrayed by Yang Se Jong, at a share house.

Bae Suzy transforms into the main vocalist of a popular idol group who suddenly left the spotlight amid her fame.
After announcing her retirement, she lives under the radar, but a few people still recognize her.
Ahead of the show's premiere, Netflix released behind-the-scenes footage featuring Suzy's new character. Viewers will surely remember some of the scenes from her stint during her Miss A days as the singer-actress showcases her versatility in dancing, singing, and, of course, acting.
"Doona Lee, the main vocalist in Dream Sweet," the character said in an interview as Lee Won Joon searched for images and videos about Doona.
On the other hand, Won Joon's curiosity about the former K-pop idol drew stronger after his few encounters with her, suggesting that viewers will get to see unexpected twists and turns between the duo.
Following the release of the new teaser, netizens gushed on their excitement to see Suzy and Yang Se Jong's chemistry.
In addition, viewers can't wait to see Bae Suzy return to the small screen, citing that the cast lineup for the webtoon-based series is perfection.
'Doona' Release Date and Cast
The long wait is over for fans as Netflix dropped the official release date of Bae Suzy's new drama.
"Doona" will be joining a slew of new K-dramas airing this month since the show's premiere date is set for October 20, exclusively on Netflix.
Other than Bae Suzy and Yang Se Jong, the "Doona" cast also includes Park Se Wan and Lee Yoo Bi, with a cameo from Lee Jin Woo and Go Ah Sung.
