Kim Seon Ho Wins New Male Actor at 2023 Buil Film Awards
Kim Seon Ho won the New Male Actor title at the 2023 Buil Film Awards held in Busan on October 5, thanks to his big screen debut in June through Park Hoon Jung's "The Childe."
"The Childe" features the chaotic chase that happens when the mysterious Childe, alongside several members of the gang, embarks on separate missions that all target to pursue Marco, a rising boxer who travels from one illegal arena to another in the Philippines.

Kim Seon Ho played the role of Childe, a mysterious chaser who appears in Marco's life, and who is struggling to make a living.
After cornering in on his target, Childe makes a mess in Marco's life.
Despite being new in the movie industry and the past controversies he encountered, Kim Seon Ho made a successful debut and garnered praise from fans and viewers.
In particular, "The Childe" drew attention as it was Kim Seon Ho's silver screen debut after returning to the play "Touching Void" in 2022.
It has been said that the film just garnered 680,000 moviegoers until its last day in cinemas in Korea. However, despite the low box office, it was praised for making Kim Seon Ho's charm most visible with sophisticated production and good narrative, which is Director Park Hoon Jung's specialty.

Many were also impressed with Kim Seon Ho's transformation as it was his first-ever villain role.
Furthermore, Kim Seon Ho was named the winner after being nominated along with Byeon Woo Seok for "20th Century Girl," Jung Il Woo for "Highway Family," Lee Shin Young for "Rebound," and Lee Soon Won.
He calmly went to the stage and received the trophy and gave a short message, thanking everyone who had supported him in his first movie. He was honored to receive the Rookie Award.
What's Next for Kim Seon Ho
Meanwhile, Kim Seon Ho already has potential dramas to work on as he has been receiving multiple offers to headline big projects.
The actor is being courted to star in Hong Sisters' romance drama "Can This Love Be Interpreted?" where Han So Hee and Go Yoon Jung are also rumored to appear.
Adding to his potential screen appearance is "You Have Done Well." He is in talks to make a cameo in IU and Park Bo Gum's series.
Lastly, he is teaming up with Park Gyu Young in the mystery drama "Mangnaein."
