Kang Dong Won & ‘Moving’ Cast Take the Lead in October Movie Star Brand Reputation Rankings

Kang Dong Won, along with two "Moving" stars, tops the October movie star brand reputation rankings, as released by the Korean Business Research Institute.

Based on media coverage, consumer participation, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 50 movie celebrities from September 19 to October 19, there are only 30 stars who made it to this month's ranking.

Kang Dong Won Ranked First in October Movie Star Brand Reputation Rankings

With the huge success of "Dr. Cheon and the Lost Talisman" in the box office, Kang Dong Won is hailed as this month's leading artist for movie star brand reputation rankings.

According to a report, the actor received a 9,928,065 brand reputation index with high-ranking phrases, including "Dr. Cheon and the Lost Talisman," which is his movie, along with words such as "possessed" and "Psick University."

In addition to this, Kang Dong Won's highest-ranking related terms are "transform," "sincere," and "handsome."

Meanwhile, his positivity-negativity analysis garnered an impressive score of 83.07 percent positive reactions.

Interestingly, the rankings also showed how much the public loved his movie, "Dr. Cheon and the Lost Talisman," as the film scored its first million mark in box office in less than a week since the movie premiered. 

On top of that, it remained the leading Korean movie in theaters despite a slew of local and international films that aired in September.

The 'Moving' Craze Never Stops

Interestingly, coming in at second and third place are none other than the "Moving" lead stars, Go Yoon Jung and Jo In Sung.

In the same report, the 27-year-old actress lands second with a 9,312,332 brand reputation index, a close fight between Kang Dong Won.

As for her "Moving" co-star Jo In Sung, he is in the third spot with a brand reputation index of 5,681,887.

Meanwhile, Han Hyo Joo came in at fourth place, next to Song Joong Ki, who headlined his movie comeback, "Hopeless."

Adding to the top 10 stars who made it to this month's ranking are Kim Nam Gil, Kang Ha Neul, Jung So Min, Lee Yoo Mi, and Jeon Yeo Been for 6th to 10th place.
