‘Unexpected Business’ Season 3: Cha Tae Hyun Labeled by Customers as ‘Famous Rich Man’ – Here’s What Happened

Cha Tae Hyun gets surprised by the attention that he receives from the customers in "Unexpected Business" season 3.

Along with fellow main host Jo In Sung, the duo runs a Korean supermarket in Monterey, California, along with celebrity part-timers Han Hyo Joo, Im Joo Hwan, and more.

The latest episode featured the celebrities' interactions with Korean and Japanese customers.

Han Hyo Joo Shows Off Fluent Japanese, English

Jo In Sung noticed a lot of customers who were non-Koreans checking out the supermarket.

"It's a global meeting here," he said.

While Cha Tae Hyun works at the check-out counter, Han Hyo Joo interacts with some of the customers, showing off her fluent English and Japanese skills.

At one point, Jo In Sung asked Han Hyo Joo for help since a customer asked Lim Joo Hwan something in English. At the time, she was talking to a Japanese customer but attended to their concern after wrapping up with another customer.

As expected, Han Hyo Joo managed to solve the problem, and Jo In Sung couldn't thank her enough, saying, "Hyo Joo, what could we do without you? "

Cha Tae Hyun Gets Called by Customers as 'Famous Rich Man'

Cha Tae Hyun has been in the industry for decades and has starred in various hit K-dramas and movies like "My Sassy Girl," "Moving," and more.

While doing his thing at the counter, a man approached him and asked if he was Cha Tae Hyun. The Korean grandfather then pointed to him and told his family, "This person is famous. This guy is rich."

At some point, the son-in-law congratulated the actor, making Cha Tae Hyun laugh.

According to the grandfather, he doesn't recognize young and new celebrities nowadays.

"I left Korea in 1976 and haven't been to Korea since, so I don't know much about Korean actors," he said, as obtained by a media outlet.

Continuing the program format, the third season moves to the United States, where Jo In Sung and Cha Tae Hyun run a Korean store in California.

Officially premiered on October 26, "Unexpected Business" season 3 welcomes returning and new part-timers who will be helping the duo inside the store.

Han Hyo Joo, who is Jo In Sung and Cha Tae Hyun's co-star in "Moving," returns as a part-timer.

In addition, Park Bo Young, who was the show's first part-timer in season 1, will also join the third installment.

Moreover, fellow celebrities like Kim Ah Joong, Im Joo Hwan, Park Eun Byung, and Yoon Gyung Ho is also part of season 3.

Viewers could watch the latest episode via TVN and Disney+ for global users, which airs every Thursday.
