Song Hye Kyo To Possibly Return to Big Screen With New Occult Movie 'The Nuns'
On November 13, UAA announced that their artist, Song Hye Kyo is positively considering appearing in the movie "The Nuns" also known as "Black Nuns."

"The Nuns" is a spin-off of the 2015 film "The Priests" starring Kang Dong Won and Kim Yun Seok. "The Priests is a feature-length adaptation of the short movie "The 12th Assistant Priest."
As a background, Kim Yun Seok played the role of Father Kim, while Kang Dong Won is Seminary student Choi who undertakes exorcism to save a girl played by Park So Dam, who is suffering from mysterious symptoms after a hit-and-run accident.
During its release in November 2015, the film attracted attention as it brought a new topic about exorcism, which is rare in domestic movies. This project recorded a cumulative moviegoers of approximately 5.44 million.
Song Hye Kyo Ready to Challenge Herself in New Genre
Meanwhile, "The Nuns" which is about to be produced this time is the female version of "The Priests." While the first one talked about the story of priests, the spin-off focuses on the story of nuns.
Multimedia and award-winning actress Song Hye Kyo is being courted to play the female lead and is currently reviewing the offer. Known as the "Queen of Melodrama," she has fully held the title of an all-rounder actress who can work on various genres.
Her recent work "The Glory" received immense popularity among global fans and viewers. Her outstanding performance was also recognized which led her to win major awards.

Interest and attention are now focused on whether Song Hye Kyo will accept the project as fans will finally see her again on the silver screen after almost a decade.
Jeon Yeo Bin in Talks to Join Song Hye Kyo in 'The Nuns'
Just after the news was released, some media outlets declared that Jeon Yeo Bin, who is humbly curating a great portfolio in the industry, is also in talks to join the cast. If the two confirm their participation in the film, "The Nuns" will be their first-ever work together.
In addition, once the casting is finalized, the production will begin filming in 2024.
