Lee Hyeri talks about new beginnings and learnings as she graces Marie Claire Korea's December 2023 issue.

The 29-year-old actress showed off her stunning looks in a dreamy black-and-white shoot for the publication.

Other than impressing fans with her amazing visuals, Lee Hyeri also talked about how she spends her downtime and discovers her hobbies as she soon bids goodbye to her 20s.

Lee Hyeri Reveals a Hobby That She Enjoys Lately

The "Reply 1988" star shared that she's into traveling lately and has been spending weeks and even months away from her home country.

According to Lee Hyeri, she "has been living as a traveler for the past 3 months" and has already visited famous cities like Paris, New York, and Tokyo.

"I enjoyed reflecting on myself during that time," she said, revealing that she "reflected the most in New York."

Other than seeing different cultures, traveling made her realize several things.

Lee Hyeri tells Marie Claire about how her past and present are all connected to how she became a person.

"I've always lived while focused on the present, but I realized that my past, present, and future were all connected and that the decisions that I make now will shape the person I will become."

Lee Hyeri on Playing a Variety of Characters

Starting off as a member of K-pop group Girl's Day, Hyeri transitioned to becoming an actress after starring in her first K-drama appearance in 2012 for "Tasty Life."

Interestingly, it was the coming-of-age K-drama "Reply 1988" where Lee Hyeri proved her skills as an actress.

According to her, she "has been busy releasing at least one project per year" and making sure to land various roles in every K-drama.

"There have been times when I was satisfied after completing one project after another, but I still haven't had that moment where I felt I did it! Because of this, I have to constantly give it my all," she confessed.

Lee Hyeri's Marie Claire Korea appearance is her first interview since the confirmation of her split with Ryu Jun Yeol.

After 7 years of dating, Hyeri and Ryu Jun Yeol, who met on the set of the hit K-drama "Reply 1988," have officially ended their relationship.

The news was confirmed by their respective agencies, C-JeS Studios and Creative Group ING, saying, "It is true that they broke up."

At the height of the shocking news, social media was filled with fans' surprised reactions to the duo's split.

Lyre Hyeri has just finished filming her upcoming movie "Victory," which will air sometime in 2024, while Ryu Jun Yeol will headline the soon-to-be released K-drama "Money Game" with Park Hae Joon,Chun Woo Hee, and more.
