Kim Woo Bin shared his honest feelings for "Alienoid," his fantasy film with Kim Tae Ri and Ryu Jun Yeol, which is set to release its Part 2 this January.

In an interview, the actor expressed his affection and realizations after starring in the film.

Kim Woo Bin Shares Affection For 'Alienoid'

On January 3, the cast and crew of "Alienoid" attended the press conference for the film which is set to be released this month.

The first part of the film premiered in 2022, and received great feedback from viewers. Part 2 premieres on January 10 and also stars Part 1's Kim Woo Bin, Kim Tae Ri and Ryu Jun Yeol.

It depicts the stories of humans and monks that try to save humankind by traveling to modern South Korea, and retrieve the sword with the world's hidden secrets.

Kim Woo Bin plays the role of Guard, a supernatural being who escorts aliens and prisoners in Part 1. In the new film, he transforms into a program named Thunder, a time-controller.

The actor has shown his flexibility and ability to synchronize with every role he plays as seen from his previous works. With this, expectations for his comeback work are through the roof.

When asked about the charm of "Alienoid Part 2," Kim Woo Bin chose the time-slip element of the film. He said, "It's particularly impressive that we can go back and forth from Goryeo and modern Korea."

Kim Woo Bin also expressed his affection for the film after saying "yes" when Choi Dong Hoon, the director, asked if he would join "Alienoid" if it were to be released as a series.

"I'd participate in a heartbeat," Kim Woo Bin said. "I can even film immediately, even tomorrow."

Kim Woo Bin Shares Realizations After 'Alienoid'

Kim Woo Bin took viewers behind the scenes by sharing an episode of his most memorable shoot. According to the actor, most of his scenes required CGI (computer-generated imagery).

Since Thunder controls the time, acting with CGI was a new yet fun experience for the actor. This earned him much confidence to do anything that requires CGI.

"Thanks to the cast and crew that helped me a lot," Kim Woo Bin said, expressing his gratitude to his seniors and the showrunners.

Meanwhile, Kim Woo Bin chose his chemistry with Lee Honey's Min Gae In as the factor that viewers shouldn't miss in the film.
