Hwang Jung Eum Divorces Businessman Husband of 8 Years
"She Was Pretty" star Hwang Jung Eum is currently making headlines as multiple media outlets reported her ongoing divorce process with professional golfer and businessman Lee Young Don.
According to reports on February 22, the couple who have been married for eight years are said to be in the process of filing for divorce. The news was confirmed by their close associates.
To recall, the duo already went through a divorce crisis three years ago.

"It has been confirmed that Hwang Jung Eum, who judged Lee Young Don was at fault, recently submitted a divorce petition to the court."
Hwang Jung Eum's Romance & Divorce Battle With Lee Young Don Through the Years
Hwang Jung Eum and Lee Young Don acknowledged their romance in 2015 in public and tied the knot in 2016. The following year, 2017, the actress gave birth to her first son.
However, in September 2020, the couple was on the verge of breaking up by submitting an application for divorce mediation.
In July 2021, the "Mystic Pop Up Bar" star's side shared the couple's reunion and released a statement saying, "During the divorce mediation, the two individuals understood the difference in each other's positions and decided to continue their relationship as a couple again through deep conversations."

After they reunited, Hwang Jung Eum welcomed her second son in March 2022.
Hwang Jung Eum appeared on the SBS Entertainment variety-talk show "My Little Old Boy," which was released in October 2023, and revealed the reason why she changed her decision to divorce.
The actress stated, "My husband was careful about the things I did that I didn't like in the past. I still had feelings for him, so I think we got back together."
After all the twists and turns that happened, Hwang Jung Eum and Lee Young Don decided to go their separate ways once again, and they eventually broke up after three years of reunion.
Meanwhile, Hwang Jung Eum is currently on an acting break following her recent revenge drama "The Escape of the Seven," which concluded with season 2. As of this writing, the actress has no confirmed screen projects yet.
