The past few years have seen a lot of celebrities sharing tours of their completely gorgeous homes on TV shows and social media for fans to peek into their private lives.

Though this openness has made for compelling content, it has also resulted in grave security issues among certain celebrities.
Here are five celebrities who experienced threats after revealing their homes to the public.
1. Kim Dae Ho

Former announcer Kim Dae Ho also shared his home on I Live Alone, which attracted unwanted visitors.
After the broadcast, he said people frequently came to his house uninvited, and some even left bags at his gate after drinking.
The disturbances eventually forced him to move.
2. Park Na Rae

Comedian Park Na Rae's detailed home reveal on MBC's I Live Alone backfired when her Yongsan residence was burglarized on April 8.
She had shown nearly every part of her home, from the garden to the living room, on the show.
Following the incident, Park admitted she often saw strangers loitering outside her property, sometimes waiting for hours.
Her mother even mistakenly opened the door to a stranger, thinking they were a friend.
3. BTS's Jungkook

BTS Jungkook has displayed his house a couple of times on live shows.
That openness did bring a few stalking situations where fans would start sending him food packages to his house, though.
Jungkook released an official statement on Weverse, saying he felt his privacy and safety had been invaded.
4. Lee Hyori

In 2017, Lee Hyori and her husband Lee Sang Soon shared their Jeju home on JTBC's Hyori's Homestay.
The show's popularity made their residence a tourist hotspot.
Fans frequently visited to take photos, ring the doorbell, and peek over walls.
The couple later revealed they had to monitor CCTV constantly to feel safe when stepping outside.
5. Han Hye Jin

Model Han Hye Jin faced similar issues after revealing her Hongcheon villa.
Uninvited guests became so persistent that she had to install additional walls and gates for security.
When those measures weren't enough, she publicly asked people to stop trying to find her home, admitting the situation was frightening.
