The end is upon us with this final episode on ENA, and it was a touchy subject, as usual, with a closing that focused on love, acceptance, and the magic of food.

In a standout scene, characters Han Beom-woo (Kang Ha-neul) and Mo Yeon-joo (Go Min-si) reconnect through a traditional baekban meal prepared by Mo, which serves as a quiet yet powerful gesture of forgiveness.

Healing was also on the bill for the show's supporting characters, lending the drama an even stronger message of chosen family and emotional recovery.

According to Nielsen Korea, the finale earned a nationwide viewership rating of 3.8%, the series' highest, and 3.3% in the Seoul metropolitan area.

On the global stage, "Tastefully Yours" maintained strong momentum on Netflix, ranking No. 2 among non-English TV shows for three consecutive weeks.

It placed in the Top 10 across 44 countries and topped the charts in 17 regions.

Starring Kang and Go, the ensemble cast received widespread acclaim for its performances.

Kim Shin-rok, Yoo Su-bin, Oh Min-ae, Bae Na-ra, Hong Hwa-yeon, and Bae Yoo-ram contributed to the drama's nuanced emotional palette.

However, the drama's triumph was accompanied by controversy. On May 26, anonymous posts on Korean online forums accused Go Min-si of bullying during her school years.

Her agency, Mystic Story, quickly responded with a firm denial.

"The claims are clearly false and entirely baseless," the company said in a statement.

"Similar rumors were previously investigated and found to be untrue. We have confirmed the truth again and are taking strong civil and criminal action against those spreading falsehoods."

The agency emphasized the harm such allegations inflict on artists and reiterated its intent to protect Go's reputation.

Controversy aside, "Tastefully Yours" went on to be one of the season's most popular dramas, drawing in viewers through its moving storytelling and talented ensemble.

Its ending solidified its position as not only a domestic sensation but also an international hit, as the global K-drama ecosystem continues to grow ever more interconnected.
