Actor Yoon Shi Yoon has reportedly applied for the Marine Corps to prepare for his military enlistment.

In a previous interview, the actor announced that he will be enlisting soon, and news of his April enlistment quickly spread across the web. However, it seems that the rumors are false, and his management company Taxi Entertainment was quick to debunk the news.

According to his representatives, "It is true that Yoon Shi Yoon submitted an application to join the Marine Corps while he was filming for his drama 'Prime Minister And I' back in January, but he is still waiting for the results of his assessment, so he will definitely not be enlisting in April."

They added, "As a Korean man, Yoon Shi Yoon has always felt the responsibility to serve in the military, and although he will be enlisting at a much older age, he hopes to enlist quietly as to not inconvenience the other enlistees."

"His fans need not worry about the enlistment date, as it will be made public. Until then, Yoon Shi Yoon will continue to put his best foot forward and work hard. Thank you for your concern and attention," they concluded.

Meanwhile, Yoon Shi Yoon's upcoming film "100 Percent" will premiere on April 3.
