Actress Kim Soo Hyun Heads To Hollywood For “Captain America” Red Carpet Event

Actress Kim Soo Hyun brings the Hallyu Wave to America as she attends the red carpet event for "Captain America: The Winter Soldier".

She left Korea on March 10, and on her informal press conference with the reporters present at the airport, she admitted, "I'm feeling nervous about walking the red carpet with several famous American stars. I will do my best and come back to Korea well."

On March 5, Walt Disney Company Korea officially announced her casting, and stated, "Actress Kim Soo Hyun has been cast in the film 'The Avengers: Age Of Ultron' as a supporting actress."

The actress also shared the news on her Twitter account, and she said, "After a long wait, I'm happy to be back with great news. I have a lot to do ahead of me, but for now, the words 'Welcome to the Marvel Universe' are amazing and kind of overwhelming. I was a fan of Marvel Comics, and if you really like something, looks like fate can make it happen."

"The Avengers: Age Of Ultron" will begin filming in Korea in April.
