SBS's New Program 'Roommate' Premieres After Much Anticipation

SBS's highly anticipated new program, "Roommate" premiered this week. The point of the program is to place various Korean celebrities together in one house to live together. Throughout the house there are 60 cameras. While living together the cast members will experience a "Shared House" style of living that is becoming more and more popular around the world. As they experience many joint events, friendships will form and hilarity is sure to ensue. The cast includes 11 members who range from K-Pop idols, MMA fighters, actors, models, comedians, and more! The members of the cast are Lee So Ra, Jo Se Ho, 2NE1's Park Bom, Lee Dong Wook, EXO's Chanyeol, After School and Orange Caramel's Nana, Hong Soo Hyun, Shin Sung Woo, Seo Kang Joon, Park Min Woo, and Song Ga Yeon. With such an eclectic group of celebrities, Roommate is sure to be an interesting and fun show to watch!

The first episode featured the cast moving into their beautiful new home as well as many awkwardly cute introductions between cast members.  Many of the cast members packed such interesting items such as stuffed animals, alcohol, and even life-sized posters of themselves!

The "House Rules" state that the roommates are all required to participate in the house events.  Dating among the roommates is also encouraged with the promise of a vacation to the couples that successfully find romance. Fans of the show have even been favoring certain pairings of the Roommates already! With house rules like these, it is no wonder so many people are excited about this show. It is such a new and daring concept to put male and female celebrities like this to live together, that viewers are all extremely curious about the results. If the first episode is any indication, Roommate is sure to be a blast! Stay tuned as Roommate will air on Sundays along with Running Man. You can watch the teaser below.
