Rumors about Song Ji Hyo leaving the company are groundless, says C-JeS Entertainment.

Several news portals falsely reported that actress Song Ji Hyo is a free agent, following her departure from her management C-JeS Entertainment. Many speculated on the status of her relationship with the organization; however, the company announced that rumors regarding the actress leaving are groundless.

On June 23, the agency issued a statement, saying, "Last week, when the management received a phone call regarding Song Ji Hyo's status as a free agent, we answered, 'Our agreement is not an exclusive contract, but a settlement for management that is based on mutual trust,' and we explained that rumors of her transferring to another agency are unfounded."

They added, "However, without even confirming the actress, or including the statement of the agency from the phone call, the media outlet released false reports."

"Because of the rumors that were released, many of the advertisements and projects that she is contracted with started sending their inquiries, causing a major problem in our daily business. We have officially requested that the media outlet issue a corrected article regarding this," they concluded.

Song Ji Hyo starred in the recently concluded "Emergency Couple." You may catch her every Sunday on "Running Man."
