‘I AM’ SM Town New York Concert As Music Film
The hard work and passion of SM Entertainment's artists will be released to the Korean mass media in music documentary 'I AM: SM TOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR in Madison Square Garden.'
On the 9th, CJ Entertainment revealed that the documentary has already received explosive reactions and popularity with its earlier releases in Japan and Hong Kong, among other Asian countries.
Kang Ta, BoA, Dong Bang Shin Ki, Super Junior, Girl's Generation, SHINee, and f(x) held their 'SM Town Live World Tour' in New York's Madison Square Garden last October. Madison Square Garden, home of NBA's New York Knicks, housed concerts by music icons Michael Jackson, Beyonce, and Lady Gaga.
According to a CJ representative, SM real history 'I AM' has generated KPOP madness in Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, and Taiwan.
The film was released on the 2nd of last month in Japan, as tickets were even sold before the release. In Hong Kong, within one hour of the premiere screening on the 18th of last month, 'I AM' received over 2,000 "Likes" on Facebook.
While watching the film, audiences sang and danced along with the artists' performance scenes as if they were actually at the concert.
The film will be released on the 21st in Korea.
