Hahm Eun Jung Will be Returning on the Small Screen in the New Drama ‘Fooled in a Dream’
Good news for all Korean Drama fans out there!
Do you still remember the talented and hard-headed high school girl from "Dream High" Season 1? How about the diligent and adorable working girl in "Coffee House?"
Well, she will be returning back on screen by the first half of 2021. She is none other than the former member of the K-Pop girl group T-ara and actress Hahm Eun Jung! She has been out of the spotlight for the past three years. In a recent interview on Dec. 18, the 32-year-old actress has been selected to take the role of the main lead on the upcoming KBS 1TV new daily drama "Fooled in a Dream."
"Fooled in a Dream" is a project that will be directed by Kim Jeong Gyu, who also handled the drama "Five Children," the story will be penned by writer Yeo Myung Jae, who previously showed an amazing writing talent in the 2020 Drama Special "Crevasse," which tells the story of the parents of two families who lived in different cultures and become one family.
After her hiatus from the acting industry, Hahm Eun Jung is set to play the role of Han Da Bal, a judo officer who always defends her mother and family all by herself. She is an honest and courageous person who enjoys doing exercise and takes good care of her family with her natural caring personality and healthy mind.
Ham Eun Jung entered the industry of acting as a child actor before. She then became a member of the 2nd generation of the K-Pop girl group T-ara. Since then, Hahm Eun Jung has started to be more active in being an idol and an actress. She portrayed different characters which leave a mark on the viewers. Some of her dramas are "The Age of Heroes," "Coffee House," "Dream High," "The King of Legend'' and more.
Her latest dramas are "Love Horribly" and "All kinds of Daughters-in-Law" which aired last 2018 and 2017. Fans will be more excited to see the new and fiercer image of actress Hahm Eun Jung. We hope to see more of her drama soon!
"Fooled in a Dream" will be her first ever drama after three years, Hahm Eun Jung will finally be returning home. The viewers surely missed her presence and acting on screen.
Meanwhile, the drama is scheduled to be broadcasted in March 2021. The details about the upcoming drama is yet to be announced.
