Yoo Seung Ho to Possibly Make His Small Screen Return with Brand New Drama
Yoo Seung Ho is currently in talks to star as the lead character in KBS 2TV's new historical-themed drama!
Reports stated on Feb. 1 that the "Memorist" actor Yoo Seung Ho will possibly star in an upcoming drama, titled "Thinking of the Moon When the Flower Blooms." According to Story J Company, Yoo Seung Ho's agency stated that he has been offered to star as the main character in the drama and he is currently reviewing the offer.

"Thinking of the Moon When the Flower Blooms" Synopsis and Characters
"Thinking of the Moon When the Flower Blooms" takes place in the era of the strongest prohibition law in Joseon history. It illustrates the undeniable human desires and proving that prohibition is not the best option.
The dramas main characters are the following: an inspector from the Office of the Inspector-General who decided to leave his birthplace to pursue his goal in Hanyang and restore his family's status, a poor noblewoman who makes alcohol in order so that she can pay back her debt and a crown prince who quietly escapes the palace and climbs over its walls just to get a few drinks. These three characters will cross paths and will have a fateful encounter in front of secret alcohol storage.
Yoo Seung Ho is reported to star as an inspector from the Office of the Inspector-General named Nam Young. He is an attractive man, famous among the local women in the place.
However, Nam Young is only interested in one hobby: reading books. He is very smart and persistent in his goal to make his name known. He has completed everything that he needs to be successful but lacks one thing, a strong family to back him up.
The drama will be helmed by Director Hwang In Hyuk, who also worked on "Doctor Prisoner," and to be penned by screenwriter Kim Joo Hee. "Thinking of the Moon When the Flower Blooms" is scheduled to broadcast in the second half of 2021.
We are excited to witness Yoo Seung Ho's acting skills once again and hoping that he will accept this casting offer.

Born on August 17, 1993, the South Korean superstar became widely recognized as a child actor in the film "The Way Home" (2002). He started his career in the entertainment industry in the television drama "Daddy Fish," released in 2000. Following his debut as a child actor, he appeared in numerous television series and movie films.
Fast forward to the time when the actor was discharged from his mandatory military service, he starred in the legal drama "Remember" (2015), historical films "Joseon Magician" (2015) and "Seondal: The Man Who Sells the River" (2016) as well as the historical drama "The Emperor: Owner of the Mask" (2017), romantic comedy series "I'm Not a Robot" (2017), SBS's high school drama "My Strange Hero" (2018), and his latest series "Memorist" (2020).
