Nam Ji Hyun Confirmed to Star in JTBC’s Upcoming One-Act Play ‘Off Route’

After five years, Nam Ji Hyun is Finally Making a Comeback on the Stage Play!
Following her last movie, "Mystery Freshman" in 2016, the 25-years-old actress is more than ready to continue establishing her name in the industry. Nam Ji Hyun shared that she is happy to be back working in a new movie after years.
According to her, "I am happy to meet the viewers in a one-act play after a long time." She also shared some details about the upcoming project that she will be working on, "This work will be about the story of mother and daughter and is very interesting to do, that is why I grabbed the opportunity to work on with this project."
Nam Ji Hyun went on, "I think about my family the most, in preparing for this work. A roller coaster of emotions that you encountered from various moments with your family. Sometimes you hate each other, sometimes you get overjoyed and grateful to have them by your side." She also explained that from her experiences of being together with her family, Nam Ji Hyun thinks that she can play the role well. She just has to fully immerse herself.

Mother and Daughter Relationship
The actress also hopes that the viewers can easily relate to the story because it depicts the real relationships of mothers and daughters. She was asked what favorite scene from the one-act play; she said that she could barely choose because there were a lot of memorable and significant scenes that Nam Ji Hyun can be the key points when watching the play.
She also shared that the viewers should look forward to the mother and daughter relationship the most. Because there will be a lot of appreciation from both sides. Things that we usually experienced in real life and failed to recognize because we are too preoccupied with our own problems and desires.
The 25-year-old actress also revealed that there would be a scene where she ran away from the wedding going to a province with no other things on her hand, just the wedding hanbok that she is wearing.
With these small details about her forthcoming play, Nam Ji Hyun can't hide her excitement. She is one of the Korean actresses who can comfortably and confidently pull off any kind of role. From small to lead roles, Nam Ji Hyun can immerse herself in every character that is given to her. Her fans are finally waiting for her comeback!
The one-act play is scheduled to air on March 15 Monday and the second part will be broadcasted on March 16 Tuesday.
