Park Bo Young's Warm Donations to Support those Who are in Need
On February 16, Park Bo Young's agency BH Entertainment shared that the actress gave a generous donation of 30 million won (approximately $27,216) to the NGO (non-governmental organization) Good Neighbors on February 12 in light of her birthday celebration. The actress's agency shared that her donation will be used to provide sanitary products to those young girls belonging to low-income households.

Since last year, the actress has been participating as a regular sponsor for girls belonging to poverty-stricken families. She sends her support and donations through Good Neighbors, a non-governmental organization. This is not the only organization that the actress has given her kind donation. It was previously reported that Park Bo Young donated 50 million won (approximately $45,357) to the Community Chest of Korea to support COVID-19 prevention. She also gave a 20 million won (approximately $18,138) donation to the Korea Disaster Relief Association to help flood relief efforts.
The actress expressed that she hopes that this will be a big help for girls who are in the phase of entering adulthood. All of us are going through a rough time during this COVID-19 pandemic but the actress hopes that a lot of people would participate in doing good works for the children in the society that needs support.

The director of marketing at Good Neighbors, Hwang Sung Joo expressed his gratitude to the actress and stated, "We sincerely thank Park Bo Young for her continuous donation to support the young girls from low-income families. He continued Good Neighbors will give professional services, such as counseling and mentoring so that the girls can enter their maturity in good health."
