JTBC Drops New Stills of Kim Bum as a Top Student in ‘Law School’
The upcoming legal-thriller drama "Law School" unveiled stills featuring Kim Bum as almost-perfect and the top student in class!
It was previously confirmed in September 2020 that actor Kim Bum would star in a brand new JTBC drama series titled "Law School" alongside Reply 1988's Ryu Hye Young.
"Law School" Short Synopsis and Kim Bum's Role in the Drama
"Law School" takes place in South Korea's top law school, Korea National University, where it tells the story of students as well as its professors who get involved in a strange and unusual case.
Kim Bum will portray the character of a first-year law student Han Joon Hwi, who is the almost perfect student in his school. He is brilliant and always gets the top grades among his peers. He has a charming appeal and also possesses leadership skills. However, don't get blinded by his outside appearance and personality because there is a different side of him that he keeps hidden. It seems like; you just can't have it all!

Actress Ryu Hye Young, on the other hand, will star as another first-year high school student named Kang Sol. She barely got admitted into law school, and to be accepted, she has to work her way up. She is born from a low social status family, and in school, she is surrounded by smart, wealthy, and powerful students.
Sadly, Kang Sol experiences the highs and lows of being in a different social class and becomes insecure and even shameful due to her poor background. Because of her experiences, she learns the true essence of being a lawyer. We really look up to those empowered women just like Ryu Hye Young's character in "Law School."
Other casts of characters include Kim Myung Min starring Yang Jong Hoon, a former prosecutor who now works as a professor at a prestigious law school. He is outspoken and tends to unleash biting remarks. His students dislike him because of his straight-forwardness but he doesn't care what others think of him. He is determined to develop skilled personnel for the law field.

Lastly, Lee Jung Eun stars as Professor Kim Eun Sook, Yang Jong Hoon's colleague who can speak openly with him.

In the first photo, Kim Bum transforms into Han Joon Hwi who demonstrates his attentiveness in school. The photo is set inside the classroom and Kim Bum is focused on learning. The second photo depicts Kim Bum discussing something in class and showcasing his nerdy side. The last still features his seriousness in answering a quiz, aiming to be top of his class!
Meanwhile, Kim Myun Min shows off his strict and serious side as Professor Yang Jong Hoon. As he discusses in class, it seems like he wants his students to be more attentive.
"Law School" is scheduled to premiere in the first half of this year (2021).
