Lee Jong Suk in Talks to Play the Role of a Lawyer in Upcoming Legal Drama ‘Big Mouth’

Lee Jong Suk to Possibly Make His Much-Awaited Drama Comeback with "Big Mouth"
According to a media scoop on April 21, Lee Jong Suk is courted to play the main protagonist in the forthcoming series "Big Mouth."
On the same day, Lee Jong Suk's home agency, A-MAN Project, released their statement to clarify the news. One of the agency's representatives shared, "Our actor Lee Jong Suk received a drama offer for 'Big Mouth,' and he is currently reviewing it."
The said drama, "Big Mouth," depicts the journey story of a lawyer who will encounter a murder case and digs deeper to know the truth behind the incident. But since he started handling the case, the lawyer will also begin to experience unexpected things in his life.
The third-rate lawyer is about to face lots of struggles in his journey. He also will slowly turn into a dark hero and be more evil than his enemies in order to protect himself and his loved ones. He is destined to punish the people behind the injustices in society and to put behind bars the evil who are abusive of their power.

If He Accepts the Role, "Big Mouth" will mark Lee Jong Suk's First Drama After Being Discharged from the Military
If the 31-year-old actor accepts the role, he is expected to portray the role of Park Chang Ho, a persistent lawyer but was never successful, to begin with, because of financial problems. The people who know him used to call him a big mouth for talking ambitiously but showing no substance at all. Park Chang Ho was born in a not well-off family and has been striving for years to survive, but still can't afford to have his own law firm office.
Lee Jong Suk also played almost the same role way back in 2017 in the drama "While You Were Sleeping," alongside "Start-Up" actress Bae Suzy.
Meanwhile, "Big Mouth" will be helmed by director Oh Choong Hwan, whom Lee Jong Suk already worked with "While You Were Sleeping." He is also the man behind "Hotel Del Luna" and "Start-Up." Writers Ha Ram, Jang Young Chul, and Jung Kyung Soon will pen the manuscript for the upcoming legal drama.
AStory is in charge of producing the project, and the filming of the series is scheduled to happen in the second half of 2021.
