After actor-comedian Lee Kwang Soo left the "Running Man" team, netizens were curious about the future plans of the management in continuing the show.

Will There Be Changes After Lee Kwang Soo Left "Running Man" ?

Last week of April when Lee Kwang Soo's agency King Kong Starship announced that the male artist is confirmed to leave the "Running Man" show due to his health issues.

In order to have a fast recovery, Lee Kwang Soo and the "Running Man" team had a hard time discussing what to do. Days after making decisions, Lee Kwang Soo has officially stepped down on the show.

Fans and avid viewers of the reality program were saddened by the news. According to some supporters of the program, "Running Man" would never be the same without Lee Kwang Soo. The "Entourage" actor filmed his last day on May 24, and the episode was aired last May 30.

The cast even made a funny and humorous farewell for Lee Kwang Soo during his last day of taping.

"Running Man" Producer Choi Bo Pil Revealed Their Future Plans for the Show

Meanwhile, in a recent interview with the "Running Man" producer Choi Bo Pil, he officially shared their future plans for the show following Lee Kwang Soo's departure.

According to him, "Lee Kwang Soo's departure was something unexpected. But in order to continue the show, we will not be changing the nature of the show. Some were saying that we will be having special guests on our show more regularly, but that's not something we have in mind at the moment."

Producer Choi Bo Pil was also asked whether the management is going to look for another "Running Man" member to replace Lee Kwang Soo.

He answered, "We will have to see how the program goes first, but as of now, we plan on just going with the current seven members of the show."

"Running Man" producer continued, "We plan to provide a better chemistry between the previous members. We are also in discussion to bring in additional member in the future"

Possible Artists to Fill in Lee Kwang Soo's Place in "Running Man"

During Lee Kwang Soo's last episode in "Running Man," his members funnily dropped some names of artists whom they want to be part of their show. Yoo Jae Suk chose actor and ASTRO member Cha Eun Woo, for he is already doing various shows lately.

Cha Tae Hyun and Cha In Pyo's names were also mentioned by other members. "My Unfamiliar Family" actor Kim Ji Suk and "My Roommate is a Gumiho" actress Kang Han Na was also rumored to be part of the mainstay cast.

But the "Running Man" team is yet to announce who is the new artist that they will be welcoming on board.
