The MBC romantic comedy drama "Check The Event" depicts the story of two estranged ex-lovers who pretended to still be together after winning a couple trip to Jeju Island in a raffle they both joined when they were still together.
The drama stars Girl's Day member and "Beautiful Gong Shim" actress Bang Minah (better known mononymously as Minah) as Ha Song Yi, a beautiful woman with youthful charms who works as a botanical garden coordinator while mending her broken heart and "Mouse" actor Kwon Hwa Woon as Park Do Kyum, a gorgeous and talented vocalist of an indie band and Ha Song Yi's ex-boyfriend.
Ahn Woo Yeon will be playing a pivotal role in the drama as Seo Ji Kang, an essayist who decided to work as a couple tour guide in order to observe couples and their dynamics. As the story progresses, he eventually develops romantic feelings for Ha Song Yi.

He rose to fame and gained worldwide popularity for portraying the role of Do Bong Ki, Bong Soon's twin brother and doctor in the 2016 JTBC hit romantic-comedy drama "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon."
