On October 21, hosted by "The King's of Affection" actress Park Eun Bin and ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo, the proud winners at this year's Seoul Drama Awards were announced.
Seoul Drama Awards is a yearly international drama festival that celebrates and recognizes various series from different parts of the world. Mostly, nominees, who are from different nationalities, are invited to the event and receive the trophies on stage. But since the world is experiencing a pandemic, this year's ceremony was held via live stream.
tvN's 'Vincenzo' and Song Joong Ki Receive Recognition at the 2021 Seoul Drama Awards
tvN's "Vincenzo," one of the most-watched Kdramas in 2021, won the Excellent Korean Drama Award, while lead actor Song Joong Ki took home the Outstanding Korean Actor Award for his notable performance in the drama.
Another tvN drama, "Start-Up," and its lead actress Bae Suzy were hailed as the Outstanding Korean Drama and Outstanding Korean Actress respectively.
JTBC's "Missing Child" bagged the Grand Prize and its director Jo Yong Won was hailed as the Best Director.
Meanwhile, Park Hyuk Kwon, who also appeared in "Missing Child," won the Best Actor Award.
SBS' record-breaking series "The Penthouse" received the Serial Drama Golden Bird Prize.
