'Gyeongseong Creature' Starring Han So Hee and Park Seo Joon To Meet Viewers in 2023
In November 2021, it was reported that Han So Hee and Park Seo Joon were in discussion to star in "Gyeongseong Creature."
Then, on January 27, a representative from the drama's production team confirmed that the two actors are finally playing the lead roles. In addition, the filming commenced this January.
"Gyeongseong Creature" is a thriller series set in the dark era of Spring 1945. It tells the story of two young adults who try to defeat a creature in order for them to survive.
The project is also packed with creative heads. Writer Kang Eun Kyung, who penned the megahit series "Dr. Romantic," is in charge of writing the script, while "Stove League" director Jung Dong Yoon will helm the drama.
Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee's Character Introduction
After he finished filming his upcoming Marvel film, Park Seo Joon is ready to make his drama return with "Gyeongseong Creature." He is Jang Tae Sang, a rich man who lives in Bukchon. He was born with a natural keen insight and is known for being friendly to everyone he meets.

He will then cross paths with Yoon Chae Ok who has lived a completely different life from him. Their unexpected encounter will bring a big change to Jang Tae Sang and starts to live and enjoy life like a normal human being, which he had been missing for so long.
"My Name" actress Han So Hee is set to portray Yoon Chae Ok, a lady who searches for missing individuals. At a young age, she learned how to live independently, thanks to her father who guided her well in her journey.
Due to the terrible situations she encountered, Chae Ok developed various skills like working with knives, guns, and other sorts of machinery.
In search for her long lost mother, Yoon Chae Ok goes to Gyeongseong and meets Jang Tae Sang. While her attention is focused on chasing down a mysterious case, Chae Ok will experience a horrifying reality though her journey.
Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee shared their thoughts about working on "Gyeongseong Creature."
"Itaewon Class" actor said he got more interested in the historical background of Gyeongseong. He added he was glad to finally found a project where he is very excited and happy to work in. He also praised the incredible team from writer, director, to the staff who he looks forward to working with soon.
On the other hand, Han So Hee expressed how thankful she is to be able to showcase a new side of her through this drama. She added that "Gyeongseong Creature" is filled with different stories that viewers will enjoy.
She concluded her message by saying that in order to produce good acting performance, she can go beyond measures and prepare more diligently for the project.
