Viewers Choose Kim Hyun Joong as Actor They Want To See in Dramas Again
In a recent poll by Exciting DC, Kim Hyun Joong was selected as the star the viewers want to see again in dramas.
There, participants were asked which star they would like to see again active in the industry, and as a result of voting held for seven days (from February 6 to 12), the singer-actor topped the rankings.
Kim Hyun Joong had a total of 2,406 out of 5,842 votes which is equivalent to 41.18 percent.
To recall, the former SS501 member was under fire in 2015 for his controversy involving his ex-girlfriend, as well as drunk driving.
What Happened to Kim Hyun Joong?
The "Mischievous Kiss" actor won the case against his ex-girlfriend, eventually. After that, he returned with a new series in 2018, titled "That Time When Time Stops" in KBS.
Though he made a small screen comeback after the issues were settled, Kim Hyun Joong received a cold response from the public.

Viewers had not been able to see him for more than four years. He made his first onscreen appearance through KBS' "Ask Us Anything" in 2021 and immediately attracted fans' attention by revealing the hidden stories in his past.
He also shared he had obtained a YouTube gold button through SNS.

Meanwhile, Won Bin came second with 687 (11.76). Viewers wish to see him again in action and romance genre shows. He has not been active for more than a decade, causing fans to feel disappointed.
BIGBANG came third with 596 votes (10.20%). The group hasn't returned to the music scene as the members enlisted in the military, starting in 2017. Thankfully, the "K-pop Kings" are ready to meet VIPs (BIGBANG fandom) again with a single, and is speculated to be released in March.
