Chae Soo Bin To Fill in Jung So Min's Spot in 'Shakespeare in Love'
Based on a report published on February 24, Shownote, the production handling the musical play "Shakespeare in Love," announced that the casting for the upcoming play has been changed due to the health concerns of one of its actresses, Jung So Min. She plays the role of Viola de Lesseps.

In addition to the notice posted on the production's Instagram, originally, Jung So Min was scheduled to join the cast, who will perform at 7 p.m. (KST) on February 25 and 26. However, due to health reasons, she couldn't be on stage and needed to rest.
Meanwhile, "The Fabulous" star Chae Soo Bin is said to fill her vacancy. Shownote Company also apologized for the unexpected changes in the production lineup. However, they generously shared that cancellations and refunds due to the casting change are possible and will be free of charge.

What We Know So Far About 'Shakespeare in Love'
"Shakespeare in Love" is a musical theater play based on a film of the same name released in 1998. It features the story of the classic poet Shakespeare, who is famously known for writing "Romeo and Juliet," which became the inspiration for his romance with Viola.

Apart from Jung So Min, celebrities Lee Sang Yi, Kim Sung Cheol, and Jung Moon Sung are also part of the cast.
Further, Chae Soo Bin and Kim Yoo Jung also play Viola de Lesseps, the woman Shakespeare loves and the daughter of a rich merchant. The female character tries to reach for her dream of becoming a theater actress, which was considered taboo for ladies at the time.

Meanwhile, the play began last January 28 of this year and will conclude on March 26.
Jung So Min's agency is yet to release a statement regarding the actress' condition.
Jung So Min Gears For New Film With Kang Ha Neul
Apart from the musical play, Jung So Min is also preparing for another romance movie, which is said to be released this 2023. She is booked to headline the film "30 Days," where she will reunite with "Twenty" actor Kang Ha Neul.
The movie tells the story of a couple who suffers from amnesia due to an accident, days before the end of their marriage.
Previously, Jung So Min made her successful drama comeback through the record-breaking series "Alchemy of Souls," where she worked with Lee Jae Wook, Hwang Minhyun, Shin Seung Ho, and more.
