Earlier this year, Jung Ji Soo surprised the public with her transformation in Netflix's "The Glory"!

In the series, the 23-year-old star played the role of Song Hye Kyo's younger version, a school violence victim who grew up with revenge as her one goal in life.

Jung Ji So perfectly portrayed the pain and suffering of a school violence victim. Her character was repeatedly burned with a hair iron, tortured and even sexually assaulted.

The actress' realistic performance touched the hearts of the viewer. With this, "The Glory" became one of the most streamed works on Netflix globally.

According to Jung Ji So, "The Glory" has become her most notable work yet. To give back to fans, she promises to return with greater projects with gratefulness and modesty.

Jung Ji So Shares Preparations For 'The Glory'

Because of her effective acting, fans' curiosity about the actress' secrets arise. Jung Ji So shared that the most important thing she didn't forget while preparing was her character's emotions.

Jung Ji So added that she also practiced several breathing techniques and facial expressions in the drama. Even her lines were practiced to perfection.

The young star thanked Ahn Gil Ho, the director, for his guidance. Jung Ji So revealed that the director would sometimes check her lines before the cameras roll, shooing away her filming jitters.

Jung Ji So also thanked her co-stars, especially Shin Ye Eun, who made the work easier and more enjoyable.

Jung Ji So Dishes Honest Thoughts On Song Hye Kyo

In "The Glory" filming set, Jung Ji So met Song Hye Kyo for the first time and she couldn't hide her excitement.

Song Hye Kyo is her inspiration in becoming an actress and it's an honor to work with her on a project. Jung Ji So shared that the veteran star had amazing energy that would boost the atmosphere on set.

"I was able to work on my line delivery because of her," Jung Ji So shared. "She treated me like a colleague and not as a child actress, which made me even comfortable and happier during filming."

On the other hand, Jung Ji So promised to work harder and become an international star like Song Hye Kyo.
