Actor and ASTRO member Cha Eun Woo will carry out his activity in Thailand as scheduled, following the passing of his co-member Moonbin. 

Prestige Entertainment Releases Statement About Cha Eun Woo's Attendance in KonnecThai

On April 23, Prestige Entertainment, which is in charge of the KonnecThai event in Thailand, announced on their social media account that Cha Eun Woo will attend the event as scheduled.

They stated, "This decision was made after in-depth discussions between Fantagio, Cha Eun Woo, and the organizers, and we will try to make KonnecThai a more meaningful event."

Prestige Entertainment also paid tribute to the late ASTRO member Moonbin, "Lastly, we would like to express our deepest condolences on the last path of the deceased."

KonnecThai is a cultural exchange event between Korea and Thailand, to be attended by various artists, VIPs, guests, and international fans. The event is scheduled to happen this coming April 30.

Cha Eun Woo's bandmate Moonbin passed away on April 19, and the ceremony was strictly observed on April 22.

The "True Beauty" actor immediately returned to South Korea from the United States after hearing the sad news.

The K-drama star attended a private fashion event in Los Angeles, alongside "Nevertheless" actress Han So Hee. They are both ambassadors of Dior.

Cha Eun Woo To Resume Work Schedule

The K-heartthrob has several entertainment activities in the upcoming months. He is filming his new series "A Good Day to be A Dog," along with Park Gyu Young. The drama is expected to release on Netflix anytime soon this 2023.

Though there are no confirmed schedules yet, the "Island" star might also resume his solo entertainment commitments and brand endorsements.

He was reported to star in the crime drama "Bulk," where he was supposed to work with Ha Yoon Kyung and Jo Woo Jin. Unfortunately, it was reported on March 28 that Cha Eun Woo decided to drop out of the project. The production handling the series even confirmed the news.

In February, Cha Eun Woo successfully launched his first photo exhibit in Seoul. For the first time, through the said event, the idol-actor was able to share some of his personally-captured moments during his scheduled activities abroad.
