‘Doctor Cha’ Episode 7: Uhm Jung Hwa Balances Career & Motherhood
Uhm Jung Hwa is in a stalemate in "Doctor Cha" episode 7 when her career begins to strain her relationship with her family.

Cha Jung Suk Shows Endless Support To Seo Yi Rang
In "Doctor Cha" episode 7, Seo In Ho (Kim Byung Chul) wreaks havoc inside their home when he learns that his daughter is attending art school, opposing his order to enroll in med school.
He ruined every art material Seo Yi Rang (Lee Seo Yeon) owns, calling them "junk." Cha Jung Suk (Uhm Jung Hwa) talks to her husband about the situation.
However, Seo In Ho only weaponizes Cha Jung Suk's career, saying that she should quit being a doctor and in return, he will allow Seo Yi Rang to go to art school with no hassle.
Cha Jung Suk then resells some of her luxury items to make up for Seo Yi Rang's school fees.
Since it wasn't enough, she then applies for a loan through the hospital she's currently working for. This sends Seo Yi Rang to cloud nine, eventually forgetting about her father's wrath.
Choi Seung Hee Confronts Roy Kim
At their dinner date, Seo In Ho informs his mistress that someone from the hospital knows about their affair, and is acting mighty over him.
The following day, Choi Seung Hee (Myung Se Bin) then speaks to Roy Kim (Min Woo Hyuk), saying that she has no intentions on breaking up with Seo In Ho.

She also hints at Roy Kim breaking up the family, which irked the young doctor. Roy Kim then leaves a dumbfounded Choi Seung Hee at the cafeteria.
Meanwhile, Cha Jung Suk learns about her son Seo Jung Min's (Song Ji Ho) relationship with the rude and bossy resident in their department after she volunteered to retrieve her phone from her dorm room.
Cha Jung Suk Saves The Day
At work, Cha Jung Suk is sent to worry over a Crohns patient whose surgery didn't go as well as everyone thought.
She talks to him about his worries but the suicidal thoughts were overpowering any hope he has inside him, making her extremely concerned for the young patient.
Things get worse when the patients' parents-in-law pay him a visit, begging him to divorce their daughter and to stop the pain she's feeling because of his disease.
The patient then thinks that taking his own life is the answer. He leaves a note for his partner and heads over the rooftop. Cha Jung Suk runs to the rooftop after she reads the note.
Thankfully, both the patient and Cha Jung Suk were saved after they crashed into the crashmat below when the former jumped without hesitation.
Seo In Ho tries to comfort his wife at the end of the episode but Roy Kim immediately hugs Cha Jung Suk, creating great tension.
