The 23-year-old rookie star Jo Ah Ram was a K-Pop star before she made her debut with "Doctor Cha!"
Unbeknownst to many, she was the maknae or the youngest member of the girl group Gugudan, which also introduced idol-turned-actresses Kim Sejeong and Kang Mina.
Jo Ah Ram used to promote with the group under the stage name Hyeyeon. However, she parted ways with Gugudan after suffering from health issues.
In 2022, she changed her stage name to her real name after she decided to pursue her acting career.
2. She was in the sub-unit OGUOGU with Kang Mina.
During her active years as a member of Gugudan, Jo Ah Ram boasted her cuteness and rapping skills.
She worked with Kang Mina in the sub-unit called OGUOGU in 2017 where they were promoted as a duo and the youngest members of Gugudan.
3. Jo Ah Ram began her acting career in 2022.
While "Doctor Cha" marks her biggest acting role yet, Jo Ah Ram actually began her career in acting in 2022.
She participated as a convenience store manager in the suspense comedy drama "The Killer's Shopping List" with Seolhyun and Lee Kwang Soo.

Because of her huge potential as an actress, she landed the supporting role of Jeon So Ra in "Doctor Cha," an uptight and perfectionist resident surgeon who's also the girlfriend of Uhm Jung Hwa's character's son.
4. She will make her silver screen debut in 2024.
At the moment, Jo Ah Ram is gaining massive attention as a doctor in the JTBC drama. However, she still works hard to create an impressive resume of filmography. She's currently filming her upcoming movie debut "Victory."
Jo Ah Ram transforms into a determined cheerleader in the film opposite Girl's Day Hyeri and Park Se Wan.
