Following his back-to-back K-dramas, Kim Woo Bin shows no signs of slowing down after his comeback. 

From one hit series to another, the South Korean heathrob will make his return to the big screen through "Martial Arts Officer."

Kim Woo Bin is in Talks to Star in Upcoming Action Movie by 'Bloodhounds' Director

According to outlets, Kim Woo Bin has been selected to headline another action movie.

Helmed by "The Divine Fury," "Midnight Runners,"  and "Bloodhounds" director Jason Kim, the upcoming film will transform the 33-year-old top star into a martial arts expert.

Interestingly, the movie will center on the contracted martial arts practitioner and his connection with the Ministry of Justice.

As part of his work, he monitors prisoners who wear ankle bracelets, assists probation officers, and prevents any form of violence, whether verbal or physical, within the premise. 

Because of his job, it required him to be skilled in martial arts techniques.

Following news regarding Kim Woo Bin's participation in "Martial Arts Officer," the team is still reportedly in the casting process; however, the filming schedule aims to start in the second half of 2023.

With the actor's upcoming project, viewers are looking forward to seeing Kim Woo Bin portray an interesting character.

The South Korean star had to go on hiatus due to a health issue. It was after he was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer in 2017. 

After five years, he had his K-drama comeback along with real life girlfriend Shin Min Ah in the star-studded series "Our Blues."

Despite Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah being on the same project and not appearing as on-screen lovers, the omnibus-style drama gained praise for its notable cast lineup and remarkable stories.

That same year, the 33-year-old actor made his comeback to the big screen with the sci-fi fantasy film "Alienoid."

Kim Woo Bin stars alongside Ryu Jun Yeol and Kim Tae Hee, with So Ji Sub, Yeom Jung Ah, and Jo Woo Jin as supporting actors. 

Interestingly, the movie will return with its second sequel, with Kim Woo Bin reprising his role.

With this, viewers are thrilled to see the actor as the Thunder Guard in "Alienoid 2."

Meanwhile, Kim Woo Bin recently made headlines after surprising viewers with his role in Netflix's "Black Knight."

From romance to sci-fi, the actor proved that he could slay any character in any genre by playing the role of the legendary transporter named 5-8.

"Black Knight" showcased Kim Woo Bin's talent in action, car chases, and combat skills and also showed that he is a perfect fit for the upcoming movie "Martial Arts Officer."
