Kim Tae Ri's 'Revenant': Stream or Skip?

On June 24, Kim Tae Ri and Oh Jung Se's occult series "Revenant" finally premiered and didn't disappoint.

The work follows the life of a young woman who gets possessed by evil spirits and a folklore professor who stops at nothing to save the other from being taken by supernatural entities.

"Revenant" marks Kim Tae Ri's first two-character role and her first ever project with veteran actor Oh Jung Se. Thankfully, it was well-received by the public.

During its premiere, "Revenant" scored a nationwide rating of 10% for two consecutive episodes and had peaked at 14% across cable channels, besting other weekend dramas.

The drama successfully recorded double digit scores for its pilot episodes, proving its popularity and engrossing narrative. Although it falls under the horror genre, "Revenant" appealed to the public.
