Park Seo Joon Harassed by Fan During 'Concrete Utopia' Screening

On August 5, Park Seo Joon, alongside co-stars Park Bo Young and Lee Byung Hun, attended the special screening of their soon-to-release movie "Concrete Utopia." The stars stood in front of the cinema, where they enthusiastically greeted fans who came to the gathering.

After greeting the audience, some fans were chosen to receive gifts. The host of the premiere called the winners to come on stage to receive their prizes.

However, one fan seemingly went overboard. She went to the stage despite not being called up. She approached Park Seo Joon before forcibly hugging the actor. The male star looked visibly uncomfortable but obliged the fan before security intervened.

The clip was posted online, where K-Netz shared their sentiments over the aggressive fan. They criticized the fan and the security at the event. Some stated that the security should have prevented the fans from getting close to the actors.

People Accuse Fan of Sexual Harassment

"I am sharing this in the hopes that no one does this. This happened at the premiere of 'Concrete Utopia' at CGV. I was shocked when a person who didn't even win unexpectedly went up. Then she suddenly hugged Park Seo Joon. This is sexual harassment. Don't try to touch the actors without their consent."

"Is she crazy? What is she doing? This is assault."

"I also went to the movie's premiere, and the security didn't check the audience for weapons, and anyone was allowed in. It is dangerous for the actors. There were some who didn't even know the actors would be greeting us."

'Concrete Utopia' to Hit Cinemas This August 9

Meanwhile, Park Seo Joon, Lee Byung Hun, and Park Bo Young consistently promote their upcoming film "Concrete Utopia" and is also sold to more than 150 countries ahead of its scheduled release on August 8.

The disaster movie follows the journey of earthquake survivors in Seoul. This big screen project marks the first collaboration of these three big stars. The production began in 2020 and was supposed to be released in 2022 but due to some circumstances, it was pushed back to 2023.

Fans are now looking forward to seeing these K-drama actors in one frame.
