What's Next for Lee Sung Kyung in 2024
2023 is indeed a fruitful year for model-actress Lee Sung Kyung as she starred in the hit medical series "Dr. Romantic 3" and "Call It Love." She never fails the viewers with her acting and diligently delivers her lines and emotions well.
After having two dramas this year, the female star also hinted at welcoming 2024 with big projects starring two of the biggest stars in the industry. Lee Sung Kyung already worked with some of the in-demand actors namely Nam Joo Hyuk, Ahn Hyo Seop, Kim Young Dae, Lee Sang Yoon, and Kim Young Kwang in dramas, and in the upcoming year, she might return to the screen to meet with new collaborations.
According to the media, Lee Sung Kyung is being courted to headline dramas featuring Lee Dong Wook and Seo In Guk. These are said to be separate works which are still in discussions.
Lee Sung Kyung & Lee Dong Wook - 'Nice Guy'
In early November, a media outlet reported that Lee Sung Kyung and Lee Dong Wook were cast to star in the new series "Nice Guy." Both of their agencies confirmed that their artists received casting offers to participate in the project and they are both reviewing it.
If they seal their participation, it will be their first-ever drama team up and as early as now, many fans and viewers are already looking forward to what chemistry they will bring on screen.

"Nice Guy" features the story of Seok Chuk, the eldest grandson of the three generations of good-for-nothing men. He is a man who brings joy and tears while facing difficulties in his life in order to protect his family.
The drama is tentatively for release sometime in 2024.
Lee Sung Kyung & Seo In Guk - 'In Your Splendid Season'
Adding to the list is "Death's Game" actor Seo In Guk. In September the two were reported to collaborate in a drama called "In Your Splendid Season." While it was true that both received offers to star in the series, they are still reviewing the offers.
"In Your Splendid Season" follows the story of a man who lost his hearing and memory due to an incident and his journey after meeting a woman who becomes his light.
Seo In Guk is courted to play Sun Woo Chan, a smart and lively animator who works at an American animation studio. Despite his bubbly aura, he's a mysterious figure who hides a lot of secrets.
Lee Sung Kyung, on the other hand, is offered to portray Song Ha Ran, the eldest daughter in the family and a famous designer. She has natural talent in arts and has a strong work ethic which earns her respect in the industry. While she vibes well with everyone, she secretly hopes to not form any special connections with anyone.
The drama is also rumored to air in 2024.
