Caffe Bene selected the Hallyu star to represent its brand on a global scale. The brand has rapidly expanded into 12 countries throughout the world, including the United States. As the brand expands, locations have been established in prominent locations including New York City's Time Square.
In the exclusive one-year contract, Kim will serve as a global brand representative, participating in television ads, pictorials, and other marketing activities.
A representative for Caffe Bene said, “[Caffe Bene] operates more than 1,500 stores in 12 countries worldwide. Kim Soo Hyun is a mainstream actor in Asia; his image as a Hallyu star works well as Caffe Bene becomes a global brand.”
His domestic endorsements include modeling for ZIOZIA and FILA. He has extensive modeling contracts within China and serves as the representative for Lotte Duty Free in Asia. Although, the actor has numerous endorsements, with contracts with companies like Caffe Bene and The Face Shop have provided exposure beyond Asia.
In 2014, he set a record for having 35 endorsement deals, many of which are focused on the global market.
Audiences are anticipating the next career moves for Kim Soo Hyun. The Hallyu star had a year-long absence from Korean drama and film, following the success of “My Love From The Stars.” However, he was recently announced as a cast member of the upcoming KBS series, “Producer.”
