Hyun Bin, Yoona, Yoo Hae Jin & More Participate in the First Script Reading of ‘Confidential Assignment’ Part 2
In the recent script reading for the film sequel "Confidential Assignment," Hyun Bin, Yoona, and Yoo Hae Jae together with the director were all present in the event.
The Cast of 'Confidential Assignment' Gathered During the First Script Reading
"Confidential Assignment" is an action-themed film that is about a North Korean detective named Rim Chul Ryung and a South Korean detective Kang Jin Tae who will be joining forces to catch the most wanted criminal. The movie was released in 2017 and helmed by director Kim Sung Hoon. After four years, another sequel is about to dominate the big screen.

"Crash Landing on You" Hyun Bin is expected to portray the character of Rim Chul Ryung and actor Yoo Hae Jin will be playing the role of Kang Jin Tae. Girls' Generation's Yoona who also appeared in the 2017 movie
The upcoming sequel is in talks to have a title of "Confidential Assignment 2: International" and will be helmed by director Lee Seok Hoon, who also directed "The Himalayas" and "The Pirates" films. Part two is said to start when Rim Chul Ryung flew back to South Korea in the chase of finding the secret criminal organization. He will be teaming up with one of the best detectives in South Korea Kang Tae Jin, who volunteers to work with the North Korean in order to pursue again the investigation team after an unexpected event happens to him in the cybercrime department. Idol and actress Yoona will be portraying Kang Tae Jin's sister-in-law. "My Name is Kim Sam Soon" actor Daniel Henney and Jin Sun Kyu will also be added to the star-studded cast. Daniel is set to portray the role as Jack, an FBI detective from the United States. He is on the track of a North Korean criminal organization that has caused damages all over the world. Jang Myung Joon is Jin Sun Kyu's character, the known leader of the criminal organization. Hyun Bin and Daniel Henney will be reuniting again after their project in the drama "My Name is Kim Sam Soon."

CJ ENM shared on their official Instagram account some behind the scenes photos during the first script reading for the forthcoming sequel movie. Showing the bright and enthusiastic auras of the cast namely Hyun Bin, Yoo Jae Jin, Yoona, and Jin Sun Kyu. Along with the post is a caption that reads "The 'Confidential Assignment' everyone has been waiting again for a new sequel!"
The series of photos were uploaded on Feb 13. The actors showed warm and great chemistry as they energetically and diligently run through the script together. After seeing the newly released pictures, viewers and fans are already anticipating seeing all the cast on the big screen.
