"Hospital Playlist" star Jeon Mi Do will possibly star in a brand new drama titled "39"!
A Korean media outlet released reports on March 9 that the actress was offered to star in the upcoming drama "39". The actress's agency BISTUS Entertainment immediately responded to the reports stating that Jeon Mi Do indeed received a casting offer to star in an upcoming drama "39" which is set to air on the JTBC network and the actress is currently reviewing the offer.

Details about the Upcoming Drama "39"
JTBC's "39" is a romantic drama that features the everyday lives of people who are turning 40 years old. These three characters are friends who will go through respective challenges in their lives. If Jeon Mi Do accepts the casting offer, she is set to portray the character of a 39-year-old acting teacher named Jung Chan Young.
The upcoming drama will be penned by writer Yoo Young Ah, who previously worked on "Encounter," "Entertainer," and the film "My Annoying Brother," and it will be helmed by Director Kim Sang Ho, who created the recent drama "Run On."

Jeon Mi Do's Humble Beginning as an Actress
South Korean actress Jeon Mi Do was born on August 4, 1982. The 38-year-old actress made her acting debut in the musical "Mr. Mouse" in 2006. Then in 2018, the actress made her debut in television through the series "Mother" where she portrayed a minor role. The following year (2018) Jeon Mi Do starred in the fantasy film "Metamorphosis" which was considered as his big-screen debut.

Jeon Mi Do's first-ever leading role was in the hit television series which is a medical-themed drama "Hospital Playlist". For those who did not know, when Jeon Mi Do first auditioned for the drama, she initially thought it was to portray as one of the drama's patients however, director Shin Won Ho informed her that he was thinking about casting her for a leading role.
In a previous interview with director Shin Won Ho, he shared that though they are in charge of creating the character, they felt like she was destined to portray the character of Song Hwa. Jeon Mi Do's character in the drama earned her the nomination for the Best New Actress Award in the television category at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards.

"Hospital Playlist" features the story of people who are in the midst of going through a day that may seem ordinary but is actually special. The drama takes place in the hospital which is a place known as the microcosm of life, where a person is born and another meet's their ending. The drama centers its story on five doctors that became good friends for twenty years since they were studying in the same medical school, now they are co-workers in the same hospital.
In "Hospital Playlist" Jeon Mi Do stars as Chae Song Hwa an associate professor of neurosurgery.
