NCT's main vocalist Doyoung proved that he is not only a performer on stage but he is also an amazing actor with excellent acting skills.

In the awards ceremony held on August 22, Doyoung won Best Actor Award in the Seoul Webfest 2021 for the third season of "Cafe Midnight."

MBC's "Cafe Midnight" is NCT Doyoung's debut drama series on the small screen.

The fantasy romantic comedy drama series "Cafe Midnight" tells the heart-fluttering story of an 18-year-old high school student who has the brilliant ability to see the future. It is a work of art that takes place in a cafe that does not appear on any map which provides excitement and healing to the viewers.

In the drama, Doyoung takes on the role of the lead character Son Ji Woo, who has the ability to look into the future.

NCT Doyoung as a Musical Actor in 'Marie Antoinette'

With his powerful vocals and excellent acting prowess, Doyoung decided to use his two advantages to debut in the musical scene as Count Axel von Fersen in the 2021 musical drama "Marie Antoinette".

Count Axel von Fersen is a Swedish nobleman who falls deeply in love with Marie Antoinette. Though he suffers from unexplainable and tragic fate, he will do anything to overcome fate with his undying love.

Fans and viewers expected a lot from the singer and actor, who recently took an acting challenge in the drama "Cafe Midnight", and is now debuting in the musical stage.

Doyoung, who is a member of the multinational and limitless group NCT under SM Entertainment, is gearing up for the highly anticipated NCT 127 comeback in September, after fifteen months of inactivity.

Interestingly, the million-seller group promoted its entire franchise in 2020 as NCT 2020 which consisted of its sub-units NCT 127, NCT Dream, NCT U, and WayV.
